Sovereignty is essential in this case to my mind. It serves no purpose to impose 'rules based order' which relies on subjugation of smaller nation states.

Let the 100 flowers bloom and let each nation state decide on their own policy. Why not? You/we are not their brother's keepers and all that. That particular western model is past it's sell by date imo. Just to say this is not the BRICS model fwiw.
