The longer this goes on, the closer they get to it hanging over to the midterms (which at the moment would be a bloodbath) the bigger the distraction they will feel desperate enough to try. I'm still leaning to some kind of military nonsense. Maybe a false flag "attack" inside the U.S. that they blame on Iran. No evidence, just taking my tin-foil hat for a walk.
