I mean, from the reply he gets, it's pretty obvious he did absolutely no research about the topic or people he mentions, or had any recognition at all about the utter absurdity of his accusations, so easily dealt with by Finkelstein.
This takes place in the internet age too with numerous sources at one's disposal, so there really is no excuse for such as shoddy attempt at a "gotcha".
What possessed him? A deluded regard for his own intellectual prowess?
There are so many ways he could have done a bit of work and at least have tried to advance a more legitimate proposition.
Instead, he goes with this utter, embarrassing rubbish.
