Of course this is a tragedy, no one is saying it isn't, but you just can't help but compare and contrast the coverage of the murder of these two children to the total indifference to the murder of thousands upon thousands of Palestinian children and babies. Rask put it well further down the page, speaking about the recent Russian attack in Kyiv: "The double standards are absolutely glaring and utterly disgusting. It's almost as if they are shoving it in people's faces."

One quote from this report leapt out at me (there are many, just look at the title ffs, with its 'obsessed with idea of killing children' thing, but especially this one) from the US Attorney General for Minnesota Joseph Thompson:

"I won't dignify the attacker's words by repeating them, they are horrific and vile."

Just to "leave that hanging there", as George Galloway might say.
