Just caught a bit of a BiBiC report on this; some god botherer being interviewed and saying (roughly paraphrased), "...there was a woman with breast cancer, and she had chemotherapy, and Carlo prayed for here, and the cancer went away. It was a miracle". ffs.

That kind of self-deluding gullability is how the priesthood have had two centuries of profitable grifiting, conning these people out of their money.
