What you want to search for is "Free File Hosting" and look around at the various options. They are all pretty similar in usage and what they provide.
Video files are on the large side for sharing via these kind of things but they should be ok with at least anything up to 2Gb (the two links I posted specifically state 4Gb file limit, so I'm not sure what's going on there).
If you are doing it via phone then all bets are off as I have no knowledge of that and the file sizes may be different.
Depending on who you want to share it with, a simpler way would be to find a good torrent link to the film in question and post that (of course that assumed the intended recipients are set up to download torrents).
