I apologize to @FiLiA_charity—who organized a conference I was, and am, so incredibly humbled to have attended—for the mess that a young collective of unequivocally antizionist feminists has provoked. This must be a nightmare to deal w. Filia does not endorse all of our politics

Some feminist pro-Palestine articles from her feed:

Excellent point in the latter:
'This is a dire situation that people in this country cannot imagine, but perhaps can, if they exercise empathy. It is an interesting coincidence that right-aligned zionist gender critical feminists who seek “allies” with the right wing of their countries to deal with the one issue they care about (to push out gender ideology), cannot fathom why Palestinian women may ally with Hamas. I’d even argue that it’s laughable to compare; because gender critical feminists have more varied and better options than that, while Palestinian women have none and their lives are on the line. '
Arundhati Roy made a similar point ages ago about how she felt duty bound to support the Afghan resistance against the US empire, even though elements of it would likely want her dead - the most important thing being that the hegemon is opposed and the outcome of an utterly destroyed country (which would be the worst outcome for the women in that country) is avoided. Haven't been able to find where she said it, sorry...
