Muraisi has stated she is losing the ability to "form sentences" and is
struggling to maintain basic conversation.

On her 56th day of food refusal at HMP New Hall, she reports constant body aches
and bruising on her arms. She has become so frail that lying on her side is
painful to her face.

Muraisi is part of a group of activists affiliated with Palestine Action who
began a hunger strike on November 2, 2025, to protest the group's proscription
as a terrorist organization and the UK's arms exports to Israel.
