Some interesting stuff in there but the "beating back the attempt to create an operational base" is thin gruel and single sourced from twitter. It looks very much like them trying to put some positive spin on things and suggest there was much more of a fight than seems to have happened.

If they were trying to create a beachhead they wouldn't be using one helicopter to do it. Everything else about the illegal kidnapping operation screams that it was a snatch-up and there was no attempt to establish any kind of FOB so even if they managed to prevent one helo landing, they didn't stop them establishing a base for a land invasion and all the rest of it.
