In other news, Ghislaine Maxwell is expected to plead the fifth amendment to avoid self-incrimination during her deposition in front of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee later today, according to a letter from Democratic congressman Ro Khanna to the committee chair.

I was talking/thinking to myself earlier today that if this Epstein thing keeps going and snowballing like it has been, there's a chance that it could provoke some kind of revolution; not a 1917 sort of balls to the wall overthrow but some sort of sea-change in the way people view the political class. The second ICE murder and then the Epstein files and the subsequent revelations seem to have really pulled the blinders off a lot of "normies".
