"This fellow" is clearly a beguiling talker who deserves his reputation as a financial intellectual. Sycophantic interruptions from Bannon sometimes break his stride and he does not face questions some of us would put ave put. He presents as an apolitical theorist for whom the 2008 crash is inherently incomprehensible, like quantum mechanics. Maybe, but that does not mean it did not have causes and preconditions. For example would it have occured without Clinton's bank deregulation.
