The Faragists lost the Gorton and Denton by-election on Thursday, yet they're still crying and spouting smears and conspiracy theories now.

If there’s one thing that Brits don’t tend to like, it’s a pathetic sore loser who won’t accept the fact they lost.
Nigel Farage’s far-right rabble were resoundingly beaten by the Green Party in last week’s Gorton and Denton by-election, and they still haven’t stopped crying about it yet.
The Faragists started off by citing the unverified claims of an organisation called Democracy Volunteers - who nobody had heard of until all the Reform party crying started - to claim widespread "family voting".
Even if "family voting" happened on the scale this organisation claimed - with no actual evidence, or even methodology to prove it - it’s absolutely farcical to believe that thousands of Muslim women were desperate to vote for the far-right, Islamophobic, xenophobic rabble rousers, but were bullied by their husbands/fathers into voting for a white working class woman who has greyhounds, representing a political party led by a gay, Jewish man.
The "family voting" conspiracy failed to land, so Farage and the Reform cry-babies changed tack, trying to blame so-called "foreign-born voters" for their defeat.
Farage is now insisting that the voting system should be rigged to permanently exclude Commonwealth citizens; Irish; naturalised British citizens; and people born to British parents overseas, from participation in British democracy.
The idea of excluding someone from democracy for life because they were born overseas is utterly fascistic. Imagine someone born in West Germany in the 1980s because one of their parents were serving in a British base over there. Should they be excluded from democracy for life?
What does British citizenship even mean if people who acquire it are excluded from democracy for life, rendering them a second class citizen, purely because Nigel Farage had a temper tantrum over a by-election loss?
Interestingly, Nigel Farage has no qualms at all about actual overseas interference in British politics.
Reform accepted an extremely dodgy £200,000 donation, via a British Virgin Islands shell company belonging to a guy who works for a secretive Kazakstan-born billionaire.
Farage is on the payroll of the far-right propaganda outfit GB News, which is owned by the Dubai-based investment fund Legatum, and the Dubai-based billionaire Paul Marshall.
In January this year Farage was in Dubai himself, on a mission to raise party political donations from wealthy tax-dodging expats.
Farage didn’t just make unevidenced claims that the Green’s 4,000+ majority was comprised entirely of foreign-born voters either, he also smeared the 14,000 people who voted Green as people who don’t work, and claimed - with zero evidence - that Reform won the most votes from British-born voters.
Farage is also railing against postal voting, despite the total lack of evidence linking postal voting with electoral fraud.
You might think that it’s a bit of an own-goal for Farage to go after postal voters, because capitalist media addled over-65s happen to be the Faragists main supporter base, but Farage has an answer to that. He’ll allow pensioners to keep on postal voting, but if you’re under-65 and working, or away on holiday during elections, Farage wants to exclude you from the democratic process.
Farage has a long history of sore-loser crying about "fraud" whenever his party suffers electoral defeats, but in reality, cases of electoral fraud in Britain are remarkably uncommon.
In fact, if any area of electoral oversight needs to be improved, it’s the fact that voters have to provide more ID to cast their vote, than candidates have to provide in order to stand in elections! Reform took advantage of these lax rules to field dozens of super-anonymous "ghost candidates" at the 2024 general election. Tellingly, Farage isn’t complaining about that.
Then there’s the fact that Farage seems to have completely forgotten about his demands that the UK switch to a modern proportionally representative voting system.
What a coincidence that he’s dropped this demand now that Britain’s absurdly outdated and disproportional voting system looks like rewarding Reform with a thumping parliamentary majority based on well below 30% of the actual vote!
It’s almost as if the man is entirely driven by self-interest, rather than belief in democratic principles, right?
After all of these sore-loser temper tantrums from Farage and his mob, the question still remains, why on earth do Reform voters like such brazen, self-serving hypocrisy and cry-baby politics so much?
What happened to the traditional British way of taking setbacks on the chin, and getting on with life like adults, rather than crying and foot stamping like a toddler having a hissy fit that they dropped their ice cream?
For a party that blathers on about traditional British values so much, their Trump-style temper tantrums and cry-baby antics don’t seem to show any respect for the British "stiff upper lip", do they?
