I'll be honest I've been finding most of the "Iran is winning easily" sort of content very difficult to swallow and fairly unbelievable. It's hard to tell what's going on as the empire never reports bad losses or enemy success, censorship and partisanship is everywhere, including in the alternative, anti-empire media but, and it's quite a big but, the Iranians themselves are not really claiming many large successes; we hit a ship, we don't know if it sank; we hit an air base and put some holes in the runway. Meanwhile the empire has a litany of, no doubt somewhat exaggerated, major successes and seems to be fairly untroubled as to what it can hit and when. Perhaps Iran is playing the long game and is going to unleash all their high end weapons once the defences are depleted. This may also factor into the grim shadow of the nuclear possibility.

The big story that is partially breaking at the moment is the false flags in the allied countries by the apartheid staters, clearly trying to drag them into the conflict. That suggests a fear that they can't sustain it themselves, the septics might pull back for political reasons (domestic cratering of support for one), and the running down of anti-missile/drone missile stocks and also stand-off arms generally, which is an issue that is being floated in the msm a fair bit so it's clearly a thing.

And, hanging over it all, as you said, is the undercurrent that the lunatic genocidal entity may resort to nuclear options. The testing that was under-reported in the lead up to this, goings on at Dimona, Putin's making a point of mentioning "nukes of any yield, small, medium, etc." in his recent speech all point to this being in the background, on the table, floated, mentioned, something.

These fuckers have got away with years of genocide without any real cost, other than to their reputation. Why wouldn't they think they can drop a nuke on Tehran?

I don't think it's very prominent or overt though. But between the lines I think it's there.
