I'm having difficulty getting my head round this. Why are Iran's senior political and intelligence people so vulnerable to Israeli attacks when they know the numbers that have been killed?

Why are these people not better protected and hidden away? Or is it that Israel has infiltrated so deeply into Iran's internal structure that their precise locations are being fed back to the enemy?

I just don't get it. You'd think that after the supreme leader and his family were targeted that Irans would go to great lengths to protect their top-ranking people. What's your theory?
