I have little doubt that anything gets by Mossad, and the supposed online security services everywhere are peppered with their ex-employees.
BUT Perhaps the basic problem is publicly available information?
The reason I mentioned that case was that with three separate hit-sites it seems unlikely his phone was used to target him. However you could find easily enough from public info or with very little digging the location of near anyone's home, and if within easy travelling distance nearby, target parents homes and in-laws too.
-People are family orientated so those represent likely non-work time locations.
