Chris Hedges' guest finally answered what I needed yo know about the Jan protesters killed. I never believed the western media's hysteria about "30,000, 40,00. 50,000" but could never find an actual number that was credible. Here his guest speaks of "7,000" who were victims of the regime in its reaction to the protesters on the streets AND the Mossad proxies armed by the Israelis and the US to stir up trouble. He explains how the previous protests (in 2022 I think) had been largely peaceful because there had been no agitators stirring up trouble. Indeed, when any violent reaction occurred, other protesters would quickly quell the trouble-makers. Not so this time -- they were as afraid of the masked gangs roaming the streets as they were of the security forces.

As has been pointed out before, just imagine the response of the US state police and Feds if a foreign power had whipped up dissent and smuggled in weapons to cause a riot. My god, there would have been umpteen thousands slaughtered.
