Today we heard the closing defence speeches of the Filton 6 trial, with all
defendants except Sam Corner choosing to dismiss their lawyers and represent
themselves. Corner, who in addition to criminal damage faces a charge of
grievous bodily harm with intent, remained represented in court.

The jury first heard a powerful closing speech from Charlotte Head, who told
them: "It's entirely possible you may be one of the last juries to get to make
decisions in a case like this before even that right is taken away from ordinary
people."
