On Gladio Danielle Ganser's books are pretty much considered the bible of the topic. There's another well respected one the name of which escapes me right now but I have them all if anyone wants them (you can find them in most of the regular places fairly easily).

On this kind of manufactured "terrorism", as I always do in posts like these, Trevor Aronson's "The Terror Factory" is essential reading. It's based back in the GWOT which of course nobody mentions now because we won or something (/sarc) but with a minor tweak (like actually letting them conduct minor attacks rather than pouncing just as they go to do it) it easily explains the more recent form of it. I wonder how many lifeboaters have actually read it. IMO it's one of the essential works of investigative journalism.
