Despite the varied stream of alternative political content I tend to read and listen to, which frequently claim that the tide is turning on this propaganda bollox, or that propaganda bollox, and people are wising up to all the lies and the "bullshit blizzard" constantly engulfing us, I don't see it much in my daily life and interactions with people.
In fact, in many instances it seems to have gotten worse...the racist Reform sentiments ride high and anti-Russian/Putin/muslim feelings are very much in evidence.
Just the other day, my neighbour who I get on with (gives me a nice lot of fresh veg from his garden every year), said he wished someone would shoot the "dictator Putin" for Russia's sake and solve the Ukrainian situation.
I can't rise to that sort of ignorance anymore...I used to but just don't have the strength or will anymore.
Sad, but true...in my experience, anyway.
