Of course, media speculation now is whether Burnham will commit himself to a hike in defence spending as part of his push to become PM. I think he will because he has to appease the arms dealers and the warmongering oligarchs. I hold no hopes at all that Burnham will be any better than the current lot of c-n-s. He won't call what Israel is doing a genocide, and as someone reminded me, he was in favour of the attack on Iraq. Buckle in for another horror show.
