I bring this up because I want to know the answer to an obvious question that no-one seems to be asking:

Did the BBC once again *set up fake accounts* on the website being discussed? Did they -- as they've done before on social media -- create fake advertisements and/or dishonestly contact other advertisers with the undeclared aim of gathering information about the site or its users? How far into actual deceit did they go in the attempt to convince themselves that they were doing something clever and 'investigative'...?

I think we should be told...
