At 6.30 a.m. on 20 December 2023 I was awoken by the Counter-Terrorism Police SE. There were about a dozen in all. You could have been forgiven for thinking that they had foiled a dastardly plot to blow up a bus or railway station.
When I answered the door I was greeted by two dishevelled plain clothes Police who informed me that I was being arrested for a tweet I had posted a month before. Having posted over 60,000 tweets in all I didn’t have a clue what they were referring to. My only response was ‘this is Orwellian’. Ctd....
