𝗜𝗦𝗥𝗔𝗘𝗟 𝗗𝗘𝗧𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗦 𝟳𝟬𝟬 𝗧𝗢𝗡𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗟𝗢𝗦𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗦 𝗜𝗡 𝗦𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗡 𝗟𝗘𝗕𝗔𝗡𝗢𝗡

Late last night, Israeli forces carried out an unprecedented act of destruction across southern Lebanon, detonating nearly 700 tons of explosives underground around Yohmor El Chqif, Arnoun, and Kfar Tebnit.

The violent blasts triggered shockwaves felt as far north as Iqlim al-Kharrub and Khalde. Residents across the region were shaken by powerful ground tremors, while homes in El Qlaiaa suffered structural damage and shattered windows, leaving the surrounding air heavy with the stench of gunpowder and endangering the historic, UNESCO-listed Beaufort Castle.

To put this destruction into perspective, setting off 700 tons of explosives in a single night is roughly equivalent to firing over 1,200 short-range ballistic missiles, 600 medium-range missiles, or nearly 200 intercontinental ballistic missile warheads all at once.

The explosion was so powerful that the Lebanese National Council for Scientific Research registered it across all seismic monitors, noting that the ground movement mimicked a 3.8 magnitude earthquake.

The fallout was so severe that pulverized rock, stone dust, and white debris blanketed neighboring southern villages, a haunting visual testament to a systematic campaign aimed at rendering southern Lebanon entirely uninhabitable, amounting to nothing short of targeted ethnic cleansing and catastrophic destruction.

What makes this unchecked aggression even more appalling is the total spinelessness and utter silence from the Lebanese government and state leadership in Beirut.
While innocent civilians are terrorized, their property ruined, and their land literally turned upside down, Lebanese officials do nothing beyond taking notes and compiling casualty stats.
The Israeli military operates with absolute impunity, fully aware that international bodies will turn a blind eye and that the helpless, passive cabinet in Beirut won't lift a finger to defend its own sovereign territory or protect its people.
