It's that image of Morris lying back with a fat complacent smirk that I find most disgusting about him, not the "defence" he tries to tries to put forward. And of course the smirk is very telling -- it's the attitude of a man who knows he is entirely in the wrong, attempting to defend and justify a genocidal apartheid state and knowing it's a hopeless task -- so the only response he's left with is his smirk.He has nothing else.
