My first introduction to "Shell Shock", was when Edward came home from the Western Front in "Upstairs, Downstairs", which mum watched religiously on Sunday evenings...with that horrible fvcking school the next day feeling!
Even Mrs Bridges and Mr Hudson, didn't know what to do!
I looked it up in the library that week and learnt a bit about it...frightened the shit out of me as a lad.
