1:29:29 NF: Now the the truth of the matter is, in my opinion, their analysis is probably fundamentally correct. The reason we don't have huge levels of anti-semitism in Europe now, it's because Hitler solved the Jewish question.
BJG: What do you mean? What do you mean by that?
NF: Six million Jews were exterminated. That solved the Jewish question. If they had still stayed in Europe, had there not been the Nazi extermination, I suspect that the levels of anti-semitism would still be quite high in Europe.
He must know that majority international Jewish opinion rejected this view until fairly recently, and vigorously opposed the zionists as they were beginning to make headway. Why would he ever accept this premise that Jews don't belong where they live? I hate to use the expression 'self-hating', but in this instance it means the opposite of what it's usually taken to mean (ie: hatred of isr**l, incorrectly & anti-semitically presented as the source of Jewish identity) and seems to apply. There's something very disturbed in Norm's head on the subject of zionism. The pantomime about opposing anti-zionist movements because of 'imprecise language' and poorly-thought-out slogans is IMO just a smokescreen for the discomfort of imagining that the zionists might have their pet project taken away from them.
Love him, but he has some f*ed up views & over-all psychology on this...
