No-one In Britain came out of either the Yugoslavian or Kosovan adventures unsullied, how could they? I always challenged the NATO-ised agenda but Paddy may have actually done some good in Kosova (esp. in terms of any alternatives to him). I maintain that he is a good exemplifier for the notion that there should be more ex-military in British politics (although heaven forbid it should ever become "militarised"), as opposed to the career politicians who currently make up the majority of those in parliament. I note Corbyn stated that he often found himself voting with Ashdown, not a bad recommendation, yes I know he had his faults and could be rude (as could, bless-him, me Dad!), but plant your feet firmly and state you case clearly and he would usually listen...
