    Deeply unpleasant attempt to silence and beat down critical thinking. AAV said many of the things on my mind after watching it. The point about 'white supremacy' which had that awful conformist Suzanna Reid frothing at the mouth and violating Godwin's Law made me think of that Churchill quote about Israel & Palestine:

    Could you ask for a more clear-cut example of white supremacism? I notice that even the BBC listed 'the 10 greatest controversies of Winston Churchill's career' in 2015, which included this quote (interestingly without the first two sentences) among lots of other examples and some hilarious cartwheel-turning apologetics from hack historians and fanboy biographers like Boris Johnson: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-29701767 But clearly it suits imperial chauvinism to paint critical views as 'a completely isolated, unique version of history' because 'everybody celebrates Sir Winston Churchill as a hero' and to do otherwise is 'really offensive', an 'equivalence with Hitler' (Reid) or 'disgusting' (Morgan).
