One would think they'ed be 'all over' Gubbard, 'cause she did several tours in Iraq as an officer in the US Army, so she's hardly a pacifist. She's from an ethnic minority. She's physically attractive. She's young. Who decides, at the Gaurdian, which women are worhty of support and which aren't and why? What can the criteria be? Tulsi Gabbard seems to have it all, so what's wrong with her? Is she too independent and feisty? Who decides what the 'right' kind of feminist is at the Guardian?
