And btw, speaking of 'aliens', did you know that reports of such anomalous visitors are rife throughout history, and throughout human communities everywhere. But they only started donning hitech industrial 'visitors of immensely-advanced tech from another star system' accoutrements in our era, where before they appeared as nature spirits, power animals, djinn, etc. But when we became drunk on startrekky ideas and images in recent times, the visitors kindly adopted this camo that we like... My preferred hypothesis - and it's only that - tallies with Jung's suggestion: that they are creations of our own species' paranormal faculties, obligingly taking whatever appearance seems feasible to us at the time. Psi does that. I've actually witnessed such materialisations, as anyone will who attends seance-style gatherings repeatedly; I've personal experience of such stuff; as have you when you think about it, and everyone else, probably, to some degree even if only mild. You know: little inconsequential flashes of ESP, and even small instances of ambiguous apparent PK. Scratch even a modern Western-style human, and the fascination with Harry-Potter tales is still there in all of us, just below the decorous, 'sceptical', no-nonsense, rational-materialist, techy-techy surface...  That's how Joanne Rowling turned herself into a multimillionaire, by tapping into that perennial fascination; even with her not very talented writing skills...
