Look at all the countries who have lined up behind what is obviously a resource grab in Venezuela - the US isn't even bothering to hide its motives, what was once covert is now overt. Empires rarely fold their tents peaceably and go home. We are being prepared for war with Russia and China, gradually, like the frog in a pan of cold water slowly being heated. Personally, I think the real crazies in the US have already reconciled themselves to losing - to them - inconsequential US cities in some kind of nuclear exchange. They want (and believe) they can engineer a re-run of WW2 where the main theatre of war will be Europe and the Far East and they can emerge the winner with most of the planet significantly damaged either by nuclear war or by more conventional weapons. Which is why I cannot understand why the morons sitting in Westminster and the morons sitting in Brussels and throughout Europe are so eager to jump on every American bandwagon.
