The rajistas are thinking about it, obviously. But would a blimpcoup actually succeed? Would enough Archived Message

Brits simply take it passively? Would the Scots consent to be sucked into such an obviously English anti-democracy scam? And if they said "No! We declare UDI!" Would the rajistas attempt to enforce their rule by sending military and/or militarised police thugs, as Spain did to Catalunya?

And if the English-raj class were actually stupid enough to try that in Scotland - what then would the Scottish military regiments do?

Things could get very sticky around Faslane very quickly...

Behind the dreamworld PBB constantly gavaged into us plebs, the gics and their servitors are as aware as plenty of the commons that the world is entering a seriously hairy time, and that there's so little impetus generally to do anything properly effective about it that each state is likely going to find itself in a sauve qui peut situation - which usually means some version of martial law, attempted at least, so that the privileged minority can preserve their privileged position as far as possible, by feeding the rest of us to fate; or austerity, to use it's currently-fashionable euphemism.

Are the Brits really so castrated by our recent piss-easy pampered life that we've lost all will to fight back against such outrages? I tend to doubt that.

And look what we have to oppose: the ridiculous backward-dreaming incompetents of the Institute for Blimpcraft/Ballsup Initiative clownshows; and the raj's political wing, the official Tory partei! Terrifying, aren't they?
