In discussing the repressive culture, particularly towards women, in Morocco, it says: The police trawl parks to catch teenage lovers necking, or are paid to look the other way. A recent fatwa prohibits women from touching bananas or cucumbers because of their resemblance to penises. A pair of Egyptian academics recommend that women breastfeed their male colleagues -- this relation de sein means that they can stay in the office together without anyone else present.
