I suspect blair's more connected to the other group of splitters - the rachel riley/jk rowling faction (mentioned in the buzzfeed article below). I also suspect that the second, yet to come out group will have even more support in the media and wider estabishment. The funny tinge-istas seem like they're trying to pre-empt the riley/rowling-ites and make a fait accompli they have to join. The riley/rowling-istas probably hope the tinge-istas fail and end up as a stalking horse. They couldn't join together as ummuna and leslie were insistent on getting top jobs, and the riley/rowling-ists want to concentrate more on celebrities (cool britannia). It's good to see them squabble anyway (insert Judean people's front joke here - it's what they'd do to the left) |
