NOM" because these SAS/White Helmets/humanitarians, armed only for self defence, were in MARIB, which is in the desert east of Sana'a almost as far as Hudaidah is west of the capital. The place is full of jihadis and Saudis driving around in Toyotas, and OIL. And hardly any population that would need aid. WHether there are land mines laid by the Houthis in the area I don't know, but the UAE forces have been trying to get closer to Sana'a from the east for the last year at least, and not making much progress. THe idea that these guys had anything to do with aid, other than in delivering medicine and ammunition to stranded forces, is just a lie. Yesterday it was revealed that our goverment GAVE $35 million to a company to build electronic remote targeting systems to sell to the Saudis and UAE forces to use in Yemen. Confirming what I've been saying for years, without any evidence or information. The former general in charge of Australian forces in Iraq in 2009 went onto head the UAE's presidential guard, and has a band of his mercenaries fighting with the UAE in Yemen; we know nothing of this. They operate out of a joint base south of Dubai.
