Every British citizen with knowledge of Apartheid Israel's crimes has a special responsibility to denounce them. British citizens of Jewish origin bears exactly the same responsibility, and no more. That must be said clearly. agree completely Of course Jewish opposition to Israeli crimes is the most effective kind, because it punctures the lie that opponents of Apartheid Israels crimes are all Anti-Semites. It punctures the lie that Apartheid Israel's crimes are committed on behalf of all Jews. agree completely That is why must applaud the courage of such as Jewish Voices for Labour who do face that extra layer of obloquy which the MSM can visit upon "Self-hating Jews" agree completely. And all well said. But wrt this: That is why we might call upon Jews who do speak out against apartheid crimes to speak out as Jews, not just as British Citizens. i'm more ambivalent, since my feeling is that it should probably be left up to the British citizens in question, as your first comment about the "same responsibility" implies. But that's a small quibble!
