I was thinking about Roger Waters of Pink Floyd. If he was a member of the Labour Party, he'd be in serious trouble too, because of his vocal condemnation of Israeli atrocities on the Gaza border and their bloody actions eleswhere in the occupied territories. What's strange about Corbyn is his inability to defend himself and tell the public why he and Labour are under attack. It's not Labour that's attacking Jews, it's a group of Jews who are attacking Labour, and for a reason that's got nothing to do with 'anti-semitism' but everything to do with defending Israel. Now if Corbyn said anything like that, attempted to define a new narrative, he'd find himself attacked under Labour's new rules about 'anti-semitism' as well. That alone shows how bad things have gotten. But aat least he's have a story to tell that made sense and was an alternative. He can't meekly accept that having the timerity to defend oneself has become twisted into proof of one's guilt.
