If you meant my comment I was posting having only skim-read the two articles. I was referring to The Intercept's crime and justice reporting ,which is excellent and the two journalists I named are doing some incredible work, but it doesn't have much to do with the body of the linked articles (other than they work at a site owned by Omidyar).
The intercept does increasingly look like a fig-leaf to cover his less than progressive connections elsewhere. Does anyone know exactly who has control over the Snowden archives and how much "say" Omidyar has in what gets released?
