    .. as you've done so superbly here - and as Caitlin Johnstone does - is a great way to call out the fairytales, fakery and hypocritical dereliction of monopoly media's claimed journalistic duties! Shared.

    For interest sake, during the final years of apartheid South Africa, funnily enough (pun intended), domestic anti-apartheid activists and journalists increasingly used humour, sarcasm, satire and comedy to deliver cutting truths. Humour is easily shared and difficult to counter.
    Hard truths couched in humour turned out to be effective pins with which to prick the propaganda bubbles which the apartheid govt's Information Department floated out domestically and abroad.
    Many white South Africans (including govt and military personnel) admitted later that - among other artistes and writers - the sharp-tongued and fearless anti-apartheid stand-up comedian queen Pieter-Dirk Uys (SA's Dame Edna - think Dame Edna citing John Pilger), for example, undercut their self-soothing narratives and slowly pulled a carpet out from beneath them.

    1980: Pieter Dirk Uys (in alter ego dress) after yet another biting performance that popped many official narratives, once and for all. White audiences would laugh at the surface humour and then realise later on that the joke was actually on them ... and that they'd been exposed, good and proper...
