If you are accusing me of "self-excusing moral dishonesty" this is a disgraceful smear! Archived Message

Read what I write not what you think I write! : "?! All Assange has ever asked for is a reassurance that he won't be shipped to the US; this bail charge nonsense, although an obscenity of an excuse for effectively detaining him, he is quite willing to face. " I was referring to the UK bail imposed by the Supreme Court not the original bail associated with the EAW - when the Supreme Court gets involved it's difficult to get round it. I personally believe that JA's human rights to secure freedom from US political persecution by political asylum trumps any bail conditions - particularly in the context of the Swedes dropping all attempts to charge JA with anything. For any UK political office holder to take on the Supreme Court is difficult unless as I said you frame it in terms of a plea for a Royal pardon. I am of course aware that this whole event has been a machiavellian plot run from the US and I am, as all my previous posts have been, absolutely on JA's side. "speculating that JC is helping JA by keeping quite until when, or if ever, he becomes PM, is self-excusing moral dishonesty to the nth absurd & shameful degree" If you are accusing me by this statement it is a disgraceful accusation, smearing of the worst order. If you read my actual words I was speculating that this is what JC advisers had done not JC ; at the same time I specifically said "We don't know why JC has taken this approach - until we do there is no point in speculating" Until we actually know why JC has not spoken out for JA since his appointment as leader it is absurd to blame him, imo. When you apologise in the header I will read your posts until then sonny, get a grip!
