No, it was 2015 when Survation timidly hid its light. Bolder since then Archived Message

Among pollsters Survation has proved the best bet for leads and levels and is as good as any other for time trends. It alone called the 2105 election right, but its cowardly CEO suppressed the finding to escape ridicule. Yougov led the herd, the wrong way. In 2017 Survation braved and received ridicule, but again alone called things right. Earlier this year Yougov was the outsider. Widely quoted in the by BBC commentariat, it gave the Tories big leads with Survation and others showing small Labour leads or neck and neck. Survation has been a hair in Yougov’s soup because it called other real election results better. Anthony Wells has always done what he could to denigrate Survation. Precisely because of its rightward bias Yougov should always be our first port of call. http://ukpollingreport.co.uk It seems impossible that the defection of the dwarves and the Watson mutiny has not damaged the Labour Party at the polls. That is what they were designed to do. Yet Survation does give Labour a four point lead. The Tories may be losing popularity even faster than Labour. The Tories did well in the 2017 election because Brexit was popular. Corbyn did even better, in terms of capturing vote share, because Osbornomics including Osbornomics-lite had become deeply unpopular. These factors probably still dominate polling changes. gb
