Chomsky and cognitive dissonance Archived Message

Chomsky's great, past insights in his areas of expertise (linguistics, the media, Israel), combined with his willingness to offer an opinion on almost anything he is asked about, leads one to wonder if the latter are also based on profound insights that are beyond our comprehension and which we therefore have to agonize over in our cognitive dissonance. We do not :-) Its sleight of hand: Establishment thinking slipped in under the radar. Nothing more. He should have married Amy Goodman.
