It really is extraordinary, that the West's two paramount powers, the United States and the United Kingdom, are now ruled by people who appear to be 'intellectually challenged' to an unusual degree. When regimes are coming towards the end, this seems to be an almost 'natural' state of affairs. Both Trump and May, and the people around them, appear totally unsuited to the roles they've acquired. It's a form of 'meltdown' of the entire political culture which could lead anywhere. Everything's in a state of flux. There has to be a form of 'consensus' or 'social contract' a 'vision' between the great mass of the people and the ruling elite, otherwise one gets chaos and eventually breakdown.
