Meanwhile, what he said in the following is interesting, and where I do find a clear bias: And please don’t fall for the idea that US involvement in Venezuela is ‘all about oil’. The US is currently the world’s largest producer thanks to fracking. It is exporting more than it ever has in its history and its consumption is falling. That an oil industry insider is saying this, I think he is believing his own BS or just plain lying. Fracking is a Ponzi scheme and will collapse like a house of cards when the Wall Street turns off the tap. In other words, acquiring and control of the foreign oil fields is strategically essential for the US of A. Meanwhile, there may be a glimmer of truth with respect to mismanagement but more unbiased info is needed as to what has actually happened.
