Re: German tower block demolition identical to WTC7. But Grenfell stood up fine? Archived Message

News of this federal lawsuit by Lawyers Committee for 911T (article in above post) has been pulled off the Courtroom News site, with no explanation, as some journalism academics note today. The article was available on the WayBack machine for a while overnight, but even that seems to have been pulled now, too. Why the heavy-handed censorship?

World Trade Centre Building 7, 11 Sept 2001: a neat, vertically-imploded demolition pile of a 47-floor tower, no damage to surrounding buildings. The USA officially asserts that this textbook demo was caused - not by the usual placing of symmetrical charges - but by the 'unusual' organic failure of one asymmetrically-placed column affected by limited fires on a couple of floors, according to the US Dept of Commerce agency, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). This tower was not hit by a plane: limited fires were allegedly set off by flaming debris from neighbouring WTC towers 1 and 2. Demolition companies could be out of business: set a simple office fire and a neat vertical implosion will ensue

Yesterday, yet another tall building was engulfed by more fire than WTC7, but failed to implode - in Dhaka, Bangladesh. A German website notes that of nearly 400 burning skyscrapers they've looked at, only three have ever symmetrically imploded at freefall acceleration speeds. These of three events occurred on the same day in 2001.

BBC: How do you demolish a skyscraper?
Demolitions take 8 seconds, notes the BBC. All three WTC pulverisations occurred in 7 (47 floors) to 10 seconds (110 floors)
