Fraudian celebrates awards for its fearless journalismArchived Message

The Guardian’s Windrush campaign has won the prestigious Cudlipp award at the 2018 National Press awards, while the Observer’s Cambridge Analytica coverage was named investigation of the year.
Ooooh, "prestigious", "Investigation of the Year". Impressive.
The awards, described as the Oscars for the British press, are organised by the Society of Editors to honour the best in national journalism and media.
More like "Described as the Oscars for the British press BY the British press"
The Society of Editors eh? Sounds relatively impartial....until you go to their website and see the board:
Ian MacGregor - President, Society of Editors and Emeritus Editor, Telegraph Media Group
Paul Clarkson - Managing Editor, The Sun
Polly Curtis - Former Editor-in-Chief, HuffPost UK
Charles Garside - Assistant Editor, Daily Mail
Francesca Unsworth - Director of News, BBC
Caroline Waterston - Deputy Editor-in-Chief, Express & Star titles
Sarah Whitehead - Deputy Head of Newsgathering, Sky News
So in other words you got given some gongs by your bosses and you're now waving them around like they mean something. What a bad joke you are. Speaking of bad jokes:
The Guardian’s Jess Cartner-Morley was also highly commended in the fashion journalist of the year category and the Guardian and Observer’s Martin Chulov was commended in the foreign reporter category.
It's like the non-competitive sports day at school; you're all winners. Any group that "commends" Chulov's reporting is not to be trusted.
Utterly meaningless sham and they try to wear it and disguise themselves as journalists.
