So says a Sky news report from 15 mins ago.

I find the presence of a number of armed police there highly disturbing. Do they really think Assange is going to come out with six-shooters a'tootin'?
The game is obviously to build a frame around him as a highly dangerous, for which read: violent criminal.

WikiLeaks: Ecuador official says claims Assange will be expelled are 'unfounded'

The Australian-born WikiLeaks founder has been in Ecuador's London embassy since 2012 after he sought refuge from extradition.

Julian Assange will be expelled from the Ecuadorian embassy within hours to days, according to a "high level source" quoted by WikiLeaks.

Mr Assange has been in Ecuador's London embassy since 2012 after he sought refuge there following a British judge ruling he should be extradited to Sweden to face sexual assault allegations.

Late on Thursday, WikiLeaks claimed that a senior source in Ecuador's state department had told it that Mr Assange would be expelled.

However, Ecuador's minister of foreign affairs Jose Valencia said the claims were "unfounded".

He tweeted: "The rumours of the imminent exit of Assange come from months ago.

"The govt will not be giving a running commentary about unfounded current rumours that furthermore are insulting.

"Ecuador takes its decisions in a sovereign manner independent of other countries.
