    Ha effing ha. BP caught in trying to save money on environmental regs. Cheap-skates. They obviously thought they would just get fined.

    I don't know what the licencing procedure is in SA, but assume that due to corruption and possibly inadequate governmental resources, this is run-of-the-mill procedure adopted by corps.

    Again, not enough detail to make a judgement if there were any actual breaches. It seems this just may force the government to beef up the resources for implementing planning procedures that work. Who knows?

    Still, at least the judicial system works ...
