The Guardian hates Assange for the same reason. His model of journalism, puts Guardian journalists out of a job. This is because, in reality, the corporate journalists aren't bloodhounds seeking out the truth, but are guard dogs protecting the state being challenged by precisely the kind of texts and images Wikileaks excelled at publishing.
