The Guardian, like so many liberals, is obsessed with Trump's personality defects and his use of language, to the exclusion of almost everything else, and this is very dangerous.
The writer compares Trump to a fictional character, without being aware that it's the medai who've turned all of American politics inot what amounts to a gigantic, soap, bubble, and they are inside it too.
If only these journalists were more reflective and perceptive about their own role in all of this politifal theatre. Real politics looks dead because it is, because the two, twin, parties resemble each other so much on so many levels, therefore, like a soap, where plot goes around and around, it's the characters that take over the storyline completely, because their is no real story to tell.
Trump didn't create the political malaise. The political malaise in the US created Trump. Only that is unacceptable for liberal/leftist in the media. It can't be their fault too. It can't be right that Saint Obama paved the way for Trump, it just can not be! The liberals have no responsibility, no, it's all the fault of the stupid and unitelligent masses who voted for Trump, pushed in his directin by the evil Russians! The desease isn't within us, but has come, like the Medieval plague from abroad.
